Peter Sargent

With 34 years’ experience in the flavourings and microencapsulation industry, Peter helped form TasteTech Ltd in 1992, developing several of the encapsulation processes with responsibility for the design and commissioning of the production scale equipment.

A specialist in flavour spray drying and atomisation systems, Peter and his team work closely with customers, advising on the selection and design of encapsulated ingredients and flavourings in order to solve issues, improve products and provide tools for innovation, particularly in bakery and confectionery applications.

The team at TasteTech often benefit from Pete’s passion for baking and cooking. His favourite meal… fresh figs, picked warm from a tree growing next to a villa in Tuscany, washed down with a nice Chianti….
